NURSERY SCHOOL

If you enjoy young children, ages 2 to 5, why not consider being a SUBSTITUTE ASSISTANT for our Nursery School. You would be paid for your time. Nursery School is in session September through May, from 9am to 12 noon.

Please call Deb Hilbert at 215-886-4612 with any questions or to express your interest

SEEKING VOLUNTEERS FOR SERVICE POSITIONS

Please consider volunteering to help either/or during Sunday morning worship and behind the scenes by signing up to fill any of the service positions; ie.

Greeters (3-4 times a year),

Communion Assistants every 10 weeks, approximately),

Lectors (every 6 weeks for 8 am service, 1-2 times a year for later service),

Sound Board (every 4-5 weeks),

Ushers (once a month),

Nursery coverage (3-4 times a year),

Altar Guild (every 2 months),

Altar Flower Delivery (every 6 weeks),

Counters (once a month).

The two categories in bold require volunteers at the 8 am service as well as the 10:30 service.

If you are interested, please contact Meg in the office (215-886-4612) and she will connect you to the
coordinator for that position.

Thank you!! Your willingness to service is greatly appreciated!

HANDBELL RINGERS SOUGHT!

I hope we all were able to clearly see how important each volunteer can be for our handbell choir. In order to practice and play, 11 ringers are necessary to play the bells in our 3-octave set. Unable to find enough ringers last spring, this group experienced a shortened season. Our handbell choir is scheduled to play once a month from October through May.

The group is again actively looking for some new ringers who would be able to play on a regular or even a semi-regular basis. Substitute volunteers are needed to fill-in when other members are away or have other commitments. The only prerequisite is an ability to read music. Rehearsals are two consecutive weeks, usually Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7 pm, prior to the Sunday that the group plays.

Please seriously consider whether you would be able to make this commitment. Betsy has selected a number of wonderful anthems that are fun to play. Please contact Betsy Selinger if you are interested at Betsyselinger@gmail.com or 215-887-6032.

Altar Guild Volunteers Needed

Are you a man? A woman? A couple?

A member of the Confirmation Class?

Then you are perfect to join the Altar Guild !!

The Altar Guild is made up of volunteers who set up and clean up the Chancel for the Sunday services. Obviously there is more to do for Communion Sundays, but we work in teams of two, so the more hands the easier the tasks.

The time commitment is small – usually sometime on Saturday and then after the 10:30 service on Sundays. Depending upon the number of members, each serves about six times a year.

Training is offered, of course, and new volunteers will be paired with experienced ones.

If you are interested in helping on Altar Guild or have any questions,

please contact Marty Frantz at 215-885-4812 or marty.frantz@gmail.com.
